November 9th is the eleventh anniversary of the LDS Church in Moldova. Last night we had a branch activity / celebration to commemorate this day. It was a very fun evening attended by about 70 members of the branch. The first baptism in the Chisinau Branch is still a member of the branch and was in attendance last night. Our branch president, President Verlan has been the branch president for 10 years!

President Verlan, pictured above presented the branch with the new, hard cover, hymn books. It was amazing how excited the members were to finally have real hard cover hymn books. We brought them back from Bucharest last week from Zone Conference, and President decided to use the anniversary as the occasion to show the members.

The second photo is our Young Women singing. They are wonderful young people with strong testimonies and faith. Of the seven young women above only one, Hasmic on the far left, has her entire family in the Church. The rest are the only members in their families.

The bottom photo is of our primary children singing. What a delightful group of young children. The future of the Church in Moldova.

All of these wonderful members are the pioneers here in Moldova. They are strong, they are faithful, they are wonderful. We are blessed to be associated with them and the wonderful young missionaries we serve with.
