"You are hereby called to serve in the Romania, Bucharest Mission, to serve in Chisinau, Moldova for eighteen months..."

Slideshow of Where We'll Be Serving...

Sunday, November 23rd. It is the last Sunday before transfers, so it is a bitter sweet day. The branch cried at loosing these three fine missionaries. Sister Lovell, will fly home to Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday from Bucharest. She takes the train tonight to meet with President Lungberg tomorrow. She has been an inspiration to all of us here in Chisinau. She has worked hard, loved the people and been "a bright spark" for all of us.

Elder Anderson and Elder Zemp (pictured above) will leave on Tuesday for new assignments in Romania. Due to the restrictive immigration laws here in Moldova, our young missionaries can only stay for 90 days then they must leave the country and go back to Romania. We are looking forward to meeting and getting to know their replacements on Thursday.
We had all of the Chisinau Missionaries for dinner today, so we could all have "a last supper' together. It is always fun to have these fine young people in our home. We love all of them!

Yesterday, Saturday, was a great day. We had another baptism! You will remember Elena Bobrov, the young lady I had the honor of baptising, well her mother was baptized yesterday by Elder Anderson. It was a great day for both of them. Also.....it snowed for the first time yesterday, it didn't stick, but it was very pretty coming down. Today it has been cold, we hit a high of 4 degrees below 0 Celsius.
