Christmas is behind us and we are looking forward to a New Year here in Chisinau, Moldova. Christmas Eve, we had all of the missionaries and the Young Single Adults over to our apartment. We had 30 people in this little place, but it was a great evening. We watched the Hollywood Movie The Nativity and ate alot of good food. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it helped to be together with so many wonderful young people, to not be too homesick.

We awoke to a white Christmas Day, we had a good snow fall in the night and it was beautiful. We had the missionaries again and we had our gift exchange (top photo). Everyone seemed happy with their gifts. We ate the Telford traditional Christmas breakfast of Potato Scones and ham, I was surprised that all of the missionaries seemed to love the Scones. After our gift exchange and meal they started with their phone calls home. We had at least two missionaries all day until after 10 that night. It was wonderful and we reminisced about the calls we made to our son's when they served missions.

Saturday, the 18th was the branch Christmas Party. It was really alot of fun. All of the branch organizations either sang or danced. For New Years eve we will again have the missionaries over to our place. We will watch a movie and eat some more and enjoy saying Happy New Year together.
