Slideshow of Where We'll Be Serving...

It has been a long time since I updated this blog. Since the last time we have been home to California, where I had my shoulder repaired (torn rotater cuff). It was wonderful to see the family and eat at our favorite restaurants, but believe it or not, we did miss Chisinau and wonderful friends here. We were in California for 18 days, the weather was fantastic. When we returned we had a welcoming party at the airport, and Victoria was waiting at our apartment with food. We knew we were back in Chisinau, when we stepped outside to -5c weather!

For those of you who followed Tatiana's back surgery, she is doing fantastic. She is out of the hospital and convalesing in Florida. She is over two inchs taller from having her back straightend. The photo's I have seen show a very happy young lady. What a wonderful blessing for her, the Doctors who donated the surgery, the hospital that donated everything are a credit to their profession and our country. Please keep her in your prayers.

Last week we had the opportunity to travel with our humanitarian missionaries for a "signing ceremony" for the largest water project in Eastern Europe. The Church is donating $85,500.00 and with local funds added to that, a village will have running water. Currently not even the hospital has running water! What a wonderful blessing for this village. Work will start in mid-march. This is a credit to Elder and Sister Jacobs the humanitarian missionaries that got it all started, but went home in December. Elder and Sister Hinson were able to wrap it up and get the contracts signed, and Wendy and I got to be there.

Our work is going well. We love the young single adults we work with. They are fantastic. We will have a big activity this Saturday, I will get photo's and post them.

It is so nice to share your mission with you. Amber and I were just in Sacramento for Diane Jensen's funeral. I love all the great experiences we have had and are still having in CA.

Hope your shoulder continues to heal. What are you doing about therapy?

We didn't even know you had left the mission field. Welcome back. We pray that you heal quickly. Our prayers are with you.
