Last Weekend, March 13th to the 15th, we went to Bucharest for some training. This time we rented a car and drove, what a treat!!!! No Harry Potter Train!, the drive only took 9 hours and was very enjoyable. I was a little nervous about driving in Bucharest, a city of over 2,000,000 with no freeways. You can imagine the traffic, but we had a GPS and did fine. The weather was nice, very spring like. The above photos are of their "Arc de Triumph" very similar to the Paris version and the Government Building. Both are quite impressive.

We received training for our new designation as a Young Single Adult Outreach Center. The good news is we will receive some additional funding for our activities which is great for our "kids".

We are busy planning a Young Single Adult Conference that will be held here in Moldova. That makes Wendy and I the "lead couple" which means we are responsible for almost everything. It will be held about 20 miles from Chisinau, at a nice facility on the river that separates Moldova from Transnistria. We are looking forward to a great conference for the Young Single Adults from Moldova and Romania. In August there will be an Eastern Europe Conference in Prague that we are hoping to attend.

Spring is just around the corner here in Moldova. The weather is slightly warmer and the snow is gone; We are really looking forward to the warmer weather.
