Last Sunday Bob had his first "Missionary" Baptism. Aleana Bobrov, has been attending our Family Home Evening and Institute classes for the last month. She was introduced to the church by the free English Lessons that the missionaries give at the Church on Tuesday and Thursday's. She is a wonderful young woman who has embraced the gospel of Jesus Christ with enthusiam and a wonderful spirit. Bob was so happy that she asked him to baptize her, it was an honor to perform this sacred ordinance. He had two days to memorize the baptismal prayer in Romanian, but was able to get it done about 30 minutes before he went into the water!

Since arriving in Chisinau we have had the opportunity to witness 6 baptisms. So far they have all been young adults from the English classes. Aleana's mother is almost ready to accept this ordinance. Another Young Woman, Jenyela told us Thursday that her Mother and Sister want to be baptized. It is wonderful to see the growth of the Church in this part of the world. As I have mentioned before, these wonderful people are so strong in their faith it never ceases to amaze me.
