We have talked alot about our new friends (more like our family) Argentin, Victoria, Ovidiu & Olivia. They have been members of the Church for five years and have wanted to go to the Temple , to be sealed as a family for time and all eternity. To go to the Temple from Moldova is a major undertaking. To begin you must get a visa from Germany, and believe me, this is not easy. It takes time and money. You must have written permission from your employeer, a written invitation from the Church in Germany and the fees. The trip takes 34 hours by bus with no facilities on board (and few on the way). Imagine a 34 hour bus ride with two children! Besides loosing a weeks wages the cost equals about a years wages for the average worker.

Last week this special family finally was able to make the trip to the Temple in Frieberg, Germany (Formally East Germany, another miricle story). The photos above show the joy they felt as a family to finally make this dream come true. We are so grateful that the Lord prepared the way for this wonderful family to realize their dream.

For our non-member friends, who may wonder about why we value the temple ordinance of marriage and the sealing of families together so highly. We believe that the sealing powers given to Peter, as described in Matthew 16:19, have been restored and that which is bound on earth is bound in heaven.
